My search for glass tile

I am sure that a lot of you have seen this picture posted on different blogs. Absolutely GORGEOUS kitchen. I sat here viewing this picture and wondered what it was that made this kitchen stand out so much. I have seen plenty of kitchens with the white Carrara marble counters, the rattan blinds, etc. I came to the conclusion that is definitely those tiles which make this kitchen stand out like it does.
So, my search began ordering all kinds of sample tiles..here is the winner I do believe! I posted two pics to show the different look according to the lighting. I love iridescent tiles.

Living Room remodel in West Virginia

This was how the kitchen and living room had first looked. Behind me is the front door.
I had my son and a friend close up that back door and put in a window. I also had them open up that wall on the right of the table to make what had been a bedroom into a dining room.


I had my son and a friend build a wall to separate the 2 rooms. I also had them open up the wall to the right of the table and chairs and make the 3rd bedroom into a dining room.

The next picture below is a before shot with me standing over by that bookcase that is partially showing in the upper pic. That is the front door with a closet to its right. I had my son and husband remove the closet to make an entryway into our master bedroom.


The pic below shows most of the wall in the living room and kitchen. You can see where the original doorway leading into the bedroom was at. We closed that up to give more kitchen wall space.
